On The Books...

So after trying to figure out my schedule this fall and speculating on surgery, hypo, and radiation dates, I talked with mom and she said it would be a good idea to call the Surgeon's office and get my surgery on the books now. [She schedules the patients in her office all the time and knows how hard it can be to get appointments] So we called and talked with the surgery scheduler there and asked what she thought. She said it couldn't hurt to get it scheduled and that we could always change it later if we needed. Sooo I'm scheduled to have my completion thyroidectomy on Tuesday September 1st. I should know more about times and such after my next appointment with Surgeon on August 10th.
